Free Hosting risks to avoid-why free webhosting Is not always the best option

The Internet is a fun place. Clicking on a Web page to another, is a visit to a site after the other an extremely relaxing hobby. Those who want to buy or sell of stuff could go to different e-commerce sites such as eBay. Those who want to chat with friends go to social networks like Facebook or Twitter. Those who want to relax by watching videos can go to YouTube.
And because it's such a great place to be, many would want to build their own "homes" on the Net. Initially, its free web hosting services providers of choice, especially for those who only wish to make websites about their hobbies or interests. After all, who would pay for a monthly service fee if you have almost the same free service can?
The hard truth of the matter is that free web hosting services is not always free. You can pay a huge price for not choosing a paid hosting service. Here's why:
First off, you're only a small space to work with. Usually, free web hosting services are only good for personal sites. But as a commercial site what you have in mind is, the space you are in a free host is not enough for all files and features that you wish to convert.
Secondly, you don't have your own domain name with a free hosting service. You get a long address that only a subdomain of the host. If you want to build credibility online is free, not the best route. This is especially true for e-commerce sites.
Thirdly, the hosting downtime and server crashes will be a source of much frustration. This is because you have servers with many other sites are sharing and on a very limited bandwidth. In the paid hosting services, customer support will continue to work as your server that it should. They will immediately issues a downtime and reboot your system if necessary. You rarely, if ever, get this kind of customer support in a free hosting service.
Fourth, free web hosting providers can simply disappear. Yahoo Geocities is an example of a free Web hosting service from a large company that bit the dust. When a free hosting service goes kaput, all domains also disappear with them. Even if you have kept a backup of all your files and transfer to another site, you do not have the same Web address and will basically have to start from scratch. This can be a painful process, especially if you already have a following for your previous site have created and have numerous links. You have to climb your way back to search engine rankings inch-by-precious inch, and that again takes time.
Finally, all types of banner ads and pop ups to appear in your website. This is because free hosting services need to earn one way or another through advertising. Since you are not the owner of the domain, free web hosting provider can and will put all types of ads in your webpages where they want to post them. Not only does this ruin the look of your site, it makes it look unprofessional, so discouraging traffic too. Free hosts offer besides, not the kind of statistics you need to determine if you are the goals you set for your site, especially if it's an e-commerce website. Paid hosting services, on the other hand, gives you this kind of information.
As you can see, free webhosting is not always free. You're better off investing in a paid Web hosting provider.
